The platform features an exclusive “Brands of Ireland” section, which shines a spotlight on homegrown Irish businesses. This initiative, developed in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland, includes beloved brands such as Barry’s Tea, Butlers Chocolates, and Bewley’s. It reflects Amazon’s commitment to supporting local enterprises and fostering economic growth within Ireland.
Irish customers can also benefit from joining Amazon Prime, a subscription service available for €6.99 per month. Subscribers gain access to a host of perks, including exclusive deals, complimentary delivery options, and unlimited access to entertainment through Prime Video and Prime Music.
The launch of Amazon.ie follows the establishment of Amazon’s Dublin fulfilment centre in 2022, which created 500 jobs.
