Noel Grealish TD gets massive support from public and two TDS over his “economic migrants are spongers” comments

Two rural TDs have spoken out in support of their colleague Noel Grealish who is facing a sever media and political backlash after blaspheming a sacred cow of modern Ireland and criticizing the establishment’s lax asylum seeker policy.

At a public forum on the potential establishment of another EU mandated migrant plantation in Oughterard, Galway, independent TD Noel Grealish said the asylum seekers who would be housed at the Connemara Hotel would be African economic migrants not Syrian refugees.

He also went on to describe the potential African migrants as “spongers off the state”.

Government minister Seán Kyne, who was also present, was met with jeers and booing from a crowd of around 700 local citizens, the vast majority of whom were opposed to the potential new direction provision centre at the Connemara Hotel.

Of course, the outrage mob on twitter immediately went into a frenzy of attacks against the TD, despite the fact that the local citizens of Oughterard seemed to almost unanimously oppose the potential “asylum seeker” centre and applauded Deputy Grealish’s remarks.

Now our politically correct Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has called on the TD to withdraw his popular remarks.

Meanwhile, in a testament to how detached from reality and the mood of the people our media and political class have become, the public has shown Mr Grealish overwhelming support for his frank and refreshing remarks.
