Nursing home in the Midlands suspends visits following Covid-19 outbreak




A nursing home in the Midlands has temporarily suspended visits following a Covid-19 outbreak amongst staff and residents.

According to RTE News, the suspension of visits at Laurel Lodge Nursing home in Co Longford comes after 15 people contracted the virus.

It is understood that those who contracted the virus have been fully vaccinated and they are being treated in isolation in order to contain the outbreak.
