
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) reported that 234 admitted patients remained on the waiting list for beds on Friday morning, reports Breaking News.
According to the organization’s trolley watch, 64 patients were in wards located around the hospitals, while 170 people were waiting in emergency rooms.
With 33 patients waiting in the emergency room and 30 waiting in other wards, University Hospital Limerick had the most patients awaiting beds, reports Breaking News.
There were 17 patients waiting for beds at Sligo University Hospital and 18 at St Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny.
Eleven people waited at Mercy University Hospital in Cork, ten at Cork University Hospital, ten at Mayo University Hospital, and fourteen at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, reports Breaking News.
Two kids were waiting at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, while three kids were waiting for beds at Temple Street Children’s University Hospital.
Eighteen admitted patients were awaiting beds at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. In the emergency room, everyone was waiting.
Eleven people waited at Naas General Hospital, and fifteen at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, reports Breaking News.
