Parents concerned as principals say that children who were abroad this summer may not be allowed back in school in September

It appears as though the pandemic could cause even further pandemonium for students, parents and teachers come the start of the new school year.

School principals are saying that children who travel abroad this summer might not be allowed back into classrooms when the new term starts.

Schools are currently on course to reopen in late August or early September as normal, but staff are saying that children who were abroad would ‘pose significant challenges.’

It remains to be seen whether or not schools will open as scheduled.
