Welcome to 2022 where innocent toy dolls can no longer be simply a boy or a girl, they now have to be gender neutral for the likes of this child who at just 3-yrs-old transitioned from a boy to a girl (you can read that here).
Toy maker Mattel has launched a new range of ‘gender-neutral’ and ‘gender-inclusive’ dolls in 2019 but they didn’t really take off.
However, that hasn’t stopped the dolls from resurfacing online and being readily available to purchase again just in time for Christmas.
The range, named ‘Creatable World’, includes clothing, wigs, and other accessories to turn the doll into whichever gender you choose, with a variety of skin tones.
The ‘Creatable World’ range retails at £34.99 per kit. Many on social media have been condemning the move saying that’s political correctness gone far too far.
