Politicians and staff gathered to protest today to demand more resources be allocated to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The protest, organized by the Safeguard Drogheda A&E Campaign, highlighted the wretched state of the hospital system in Drogheda, and the country at large.
It is understood that patients from Navan will be directed to Drogheda from this week, with no extra resources, a situation that many believe in patient deaths.
