Protests have erupted following the killing of a black man by law enforcement officers less than three miles from the spot where George Floyd was killed last year.

32-year-old man Winston Boogie Smith Jr., a father of three, was shot dead by US Marshals on Friday. It is understood that the law enforcement officers were executing an outstanding warrant for firearms offences against Mr. Smith.

Nine people have been arrested in connection with violent scenes linked to the killing.
