A large Garda contingent is reportedly on high alert ahead of crowds possibly gathering around Dublin city center on Saturday night.
Gardai arrested fourteen people on Friday night, as people gathered in numbers around South William Street, Saint Stephen’s Green Park and Temple Bar Square.
Gardai have come under scrutiny after reports of heavy-handed tactics, following a baton charge against revellers.
