In a disturbing case in New York City a burglar who managed to enter an apartment posing as a construction worker has raped the woman living there after giving her the choice of either having forced sex with her son or being raped by him.
Joshua Henderson (33), who has previous convictions for burglary, tied up the woman’s 25-year-old son after entering the apartment and convincing them he had a gun before raiding the home for cash and jewellery.
Henderson than the gave the woman the ultimatum of choosing between being murdered, raped or having sex with her son.
The woman then chose to be raped and afterwards was sprayed with soapy water by Henderson in a vain attempt to destroy any identifiable DNA samples he had left.
NYPD detectives obtained CCTV footage showing Henderson entering the building with construction attire and confirmed the victim has picked the alleged perpetrator out of a police line-up.
Henderson is now a suspect in a number of other similar unsolved rape cases on the NYPD’s books.
