A number of representatives from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organization (INMO) are meeting with members of the Department of Public Expenditure at the Labour Court, in an attempt to resolve the current crisis at the health service.
Talks between parties remain deadlocked, as the Government remains steadfastly opposed to raise nurses and midwives’s wages, a key demand from the INMO.
If today’s talks end without agreement, nurses and midwives will stage three consecutive days of strike starting tomorrow, Tuesday.
The row continues.
