The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, after a man in his 20s sadly lost his life in a collision between a car and a lorry in Co. Limerick.
The accident happened on the N21 road, near Templeglantine. The 27-year-old driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver was not injured.
It has been a grim start of the year in terms of road deaths. Last week alone, 10 people lost their lives on Irish roads.
