As tensions soar in Eastern Europe, Russian state TV has claimed the Britain’s MI6 is operating in Ukraine with the intention of trigger a new war with Russia.
Over the last number of weeks Ukraine has been building up its military forces in east of the country where provinces which border Russia have effectively been government themselves since Western sponsored anti-Russian coup in 2014.
There has been sporadic fighting between pro-Russian militias and Ukrainian forces in recent months which has jeopardised the strained truce in place.
In response to this Russia has been building up its own military forces on its side of the border which has alarmed Western analysts however, Moscow has insisted that these military manoeuvres are part of regular training drills.
Now Russian state TV has claimed that according to expert Sergey Kurginyan, British intelligence “has become a dominant force” in Ukraine.
Kurginyan told Rossiya 1 channel:
“If continental Europe is a bit scared of potential accidents, these ones (the British) don’t give a damn, and they continuously push for exacerbation.
“I want to keep your attention and say one more time – this is not the end of Richard Moore’s career.
“MI6 is not the end of his career.
“This is the person who thinks far ahead, and into the future.”
Zelensky “is eating out of their hands”, claimed nationalist Kurginyan, adding: “Since everything is anyway collapsing around them, they prefer to go in the situation of conflict.”
