Ryanair and Aer Lingus have been forced to cancel a number of flights to the Canary Islands in Spain due to a severe sandstorm.
The weather event has caused significant disruption to air travel, with hundreds of passengers stranded right at the end of the busy midterm period.
Flight schedules are slowly returning to normal, but you’re strongly advised to check with your airline if you’re due to travel to the area over the next few days.
