A Status Yellow weather warning for thunderstorms is now in effect across Ireland.
According to Met Eireann, there is a high risk of thunderstorm activity and hail showers today, potentially causing hazardous driving conditions.
The warning came into effect at 6am and will remain in place until 10pm today.
