Sunday will be a rather cold and cloudy day, but big change forecast for the coming week

It’s been a rather miserable few days weather-wise, and Sunday is expected to be no different, with cold temperatures and generally overcast conditions.

But Met Eireann is forecasting a very positive change from Monday onwards, with temperatures steadily climbing to a very pleasant 15-16C on St. Patrick’s Day on Wednesday.

Monday will remain cloudy but mostly dry, with temperatures rising to double figures. Tuesday morning will see light rain across many areas, but conditions will improve as the day goes on.

Wednesday is forecast to be dry and bright, with good periods of sunshine and temperatures reaching 16C in some areas at times.
