Tanaiste Leo Varadkar forced to move house due to credible death threats

Seeing the Tanaiste Leo Varadkar swanning around Castleknock in his big State-funded Audi isn’t unusual.

Many people had seen him and his boyfriend over the years jogging through the Phoenix Park too, but that could now all change.

Varadkar has been told by gardai that there now is genuine and credible threats to his life and that he must move house with his boyfriend.

According to the Independent, Varadkar’s death threats have been confirmed by gardai as real and thus are putting his life in danger.

Varadkar and his boyfriend have now moved out of their house, reports the Independent.

The threats are coming from Northern Ireland, possibly to do with Varadkar’s flippant attitude towards Northern Ireland and Brexit. Either way, the Tanaiste is upping sticks after his home address was plastered all over a wall in Belfast last month.
