The entire country wishing Fr Paul Murphy well, claims Simon Harris

The Taoiseach has described the Army chaplain who was stabbed on Thursday as a “kind, decent, and caring man,” reports Breaking News.

While Fr. Paul Murphy heals from his wounds, Simon Harris claimed he spoke with him on Saturday.

At Galway’s Renmore Barracks on Thursday night, the priest was attacked.

“A kind, decent, caring man, of great faith and humanity,” was how Mr. Harris described himself in a statement. It was a pleasure to talk to him and inform him that the nation is pulling together for his health, reports Breaking News.

In his 50s, Fr. Murphy has expressed gratitude to everyone for their well-wishes and care.

In a social media post after the attack, he said: “Sorry that I can’t reply to all messages and take all the calls coming my way. I’m doing okay; just awaiting surgery. All will be well,” reports Breaking News.
