Today, thousands of pro-Palestine protesters are marching from Bank Junction to Parliament Square, reports Breaking News.
They are calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
The protest started at midday and will finish in Westminster later this afternoon. The route takes them past St Paul’s Cathedral and Somerset House.
People on the protest held signs with the words “Free Palestine” and “End the siege”, reports Breaking News.
Some of the protesters chanted: “One, two, three, four, occupation no more, five, six, seven, eight, Israel is a terrorist state,” reports Breaking News.
They also chanted the controversial slogan: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” reports Breaking News.
