A youth who smashed a bottle of vodka over the head of defenceless Irish boy’s head before using it to repeatedly stab him in the back as he lay on the ground has been jailed for just 18 months by Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
Judge Seán Ó Donnabháin handed down a sentence of two years and six months and suspended one year of it.
Footage of the animalistic attack by a gang of violent youths on the Irish teenager shocked the nation and it was later revealed that the same gang had been on a violent rampage around Carrigaline, Cork earlier, with footage later emerging of them beating a young girl.
The gang of feral savages set upon the youth after they demanded change from him which he did not have, during the attack the Irish boy’s iPhone was also stolen and the cowardly thug only ceased his stabbing when a brave girl threw herself on top of his victim.
Despite the horrifying footage going viral, Irish politicians and media talking heads mostly remained silent and ignored it while many Irish citizens pondered on social media why this was happening.
