There is some tragic news this morning, as a farmer has sadly lost his life in a farming accident involving slurry.
The incident happened at a farm in Coagh, Co. Tyrone, yesterday evening.
The farmer, named locally as Alastair Sloss, of Ruskey Road, died at scene.
The HSE have once again warned about the inherent dangers about handling and mixing slurry, and have advised farmers and other personnel around farms to be extra careful during slurry season.
