Gardai in Co Cork have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 60s has died following a farming accident.
It is understood that the man was killed whilst working with a digger on a farm near his home in Munroe, Carrigaline.
Gardai say the Health and Safety Authority have been notified about the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
