The father of the murdered student Ana Kriégel died, it’s been confirmed.
Patrick Kriégel, originally from Paris, died peacefully at his Leixlip home in County Kildare on Sunday.
Mr. Kriégel and his wife Géraldine attended the trial of two schoolchildren for the murder of his daughter Ana every day and both of whom gave evidence as the prosecution.
His funeral will take place this afternoon.
