Police in the North have confirmed that two men were arrested after 31 dogs including several pups were rescued on Thursday.
It is understood the men both aged in their 40s were arrested following a search in the Coalisland area of Co Tyrone, on Thursday.
Police say both men have been arrested on suspicion of fraud and have since been released on bail.
They added that enquires are currently ongoing.
