Four members of a British drug gang have been jailed in England for smuggling huge quantities of drugs through Belfast to Limerick, Leitrim, Wicklow and other parts of the country, reports RTE.

Anthony Terry, 49, of Wolverhampton, was the head of an organized crime group.

He organized the importation of €1.9 million worth of cocaine by ferry from the Netherlands to England and then to Northern Ireland.

National Crime Agency officers seized the drugs hidden in the van’s fuel tank when it arrived at Belfast port in February 2021, reports RTE.

Terry worked with Michael Collis, 63, from Wolverhampton, who brought the drugs from the Netherlands.

The other two drivers, Joshpal Singh Kotheria, 34, from Wolverhampton and Mohammad Omar Khan, 39, from Birmingham, Ireland, were used to deliver the drugs to customers, reports RTE.
