Ukraine counter-offensive: M1 Abrams tanks expected to make their battlefield debut in Ukraine soon

US-made M1 Abrams tanks are expected to make their battlefield debut in Ukraine over the coming days, much to the misfortune of soon-to-be vaporized Russian tank crews.

The first M1 platoon, 10 units, is expected to be rolling over Russian lines before the end of September.

Abrams machines are specifically designed with superior firepower and battlefield survivability. Powered by a powerful Honeywell AGT 1500 gas-turbine engine and equipped with a deadly accurate 120mm gun, these armored beasts can fire M829A3 armor-piercing rounds with a depleted uranium core that can easily destroy any Russian target at ranges of up to 2,000m.

It is common knowledge that if an Abrams tank commander wants an enemy tank killed, the opponent stands little chance, a lesson that Iraqi tank crews learned the hard way during the Gulf War in the early 1990s. Russian tankers are likely to suffer the same fate at the hands of well-trained, well-equipped, and strong-willed Ukrainian operators.
