Under directions from the Biden administration US embassies around the globe are flying rainbow coloured flags to celebrate homosexuality and others who identify as members of the LGBTQ2S+ “community”.
While US embassies in Muslim countries will refrain from flying the gay pride flag out of respect to the prevalent faith, on June 1st the US embassy to the Vatican hoisted the rainbow flag which will fly for the full month, which is revered by Catholics as the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The Twitter account of the U.S in the Holy See posted:
“The U.S. Embassy to the Holy See celebrates #PrideMonth with the Pride flag on display during the month of June. The United States respects the dignity and equality of LGBTQI+ people. LGBTQI+ rights are human rights.”
Joe Biden rolled back on President Trump’s directive to U.S diplomatic missions to refrain from flying the rainbow flag and nominally Catholic president has marketed himself as one of the most socially liberal politicians the Western world has ever produced.
