A Pew Research Centre study has found that as of 2017 as many as 4.8 million unauthorised migrants were living in Europe with half of them in the UK and Germany alone.

The study, based on data from all EU states as well as Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein, found that at an absolute minimum 3.9 million unauthorised migrants were resident in the continent, the vast majority of whom, are living in Western Europe.

The flow of illegal aliens in Western and Northern Europe was stemmed in 2016, the height of the war in Syria, when Central European countries closed the Balkan route used by migrants coming from the Middle East via Turkey and Greece.

This was also the year the EU negotiated a deal with Turkey to keep millions more migrants from flowing into Europe.

Migrants flooded into the EU in 2015 after German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, declared her countries borders, and by extension the EU’s, were open to mass migration from the Third World.

This was decision Chancellor Merkel has admitted was a mistake and confessed to regretting saying recently at a party event that “multiculturalism has been a failure”.

This follows several years of increased crime, anti-social behaviour, terrorism and in particular a rise in sexual violence against women and girls, since the decision to open the continents borders to mass Third World migration.
