Visitor restrictions put in place at Mallow General Hospital in an effort to halt the spread of influenza




Management at Mallow General Hospital have confirmed that visitor restrictions have been put in place in order to combat the rise in influenza cases.

It is understood the hospital implemented the restrictions in an effort to halt the spread of the flu across the hospital.

They also say the restrictions have been put in place in the interest of patient safety and have urged those who are experiencing symptoms to contact their GP
