War in the camp: Tensions remain high as the government say NPHET doesn’t have to get permission to go on television

Tensions remain extremely hight between the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) and the government over just who is actually allowed to announce and say what.

It was understood that NPHET had to run it past the government whether they were allowed to go on television or not.

However, that’s now been disputed by the government who claim that NPHET haven’t been gagged.

On the contrary however, NPHET has allegedly leaked information to the press before the government were presented with the same.

One thing is for sure – tensions are high and they’re not going down any time soon.
