Here’s 10 things that will happen should Scotland vote YES tomorrow:
– Scotland will become officially independent from the United Kingdom on March 24, 2016, for Scotland’s independence day.
– Negotiating teams from both Yes and No teams would have to construct a new constitution.
– The Yes campaign say The Queen would remain as Monarch.
– It’s still undetermined whether Scotland would continue to use Sterling or create a new currency marked against it.
– Scotland would negotiate its own commitment and involvement in the war on terror.
– Scotland would more than likely have an open-border policy allowing all UK residents to work and live there.
– Scotland would be in control of their own tax rate.
– They are more than likely to exit to EU if the UK do the same, this would mean Scottish people would need passports.
– It would potentially diminish the UK’s standing in the world.
– Many groups in Northern Ireland have indicated they would like a referendum on independence if Scotland vote Yes.
