High winds are expected to hit Ireland in many places from mid-afternoon.
There is an orange warning in effect for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo, where gusts of up to 130km/h are likely on exposed coastal areas this evening.
A yellow wind warning is in place for much of Leinster, the east and the midlands.
Motorists are cautioned to be extra watchful on the roads this weekend.
