A woman spending Christmas Eve with her fiancé’s family notices a house fire caused by an artificial Christmas tree and alerts them, but is unable to escape.

Destiny Abdrazack, 22, was pulled from the house fire caused by a short circuit Sunday morning and later died at a nearby hospital.

‘On Christmas morning at 2am the Isom family lost everything in a house fire that started and spread rapidly. Destiny is one of the most beautiful souls that crossed our paths,’ states a GoFundMe page for Abdrazack’s family and funeral costs. She is no longer earth side but she will always be with us,” reports Metro.

Isom, his wife, son and two other adults survived the fire.

A neighbor, Brandy Byers, said she and her husband saw the Isom family screaming for help outside their home.

Firefighters got Abdrazack out of the living room and she was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Isom said the family fell asleep without turning off the Christmas tree lights and the home’s smoke detectors were not working.

Two of the family’s dogs were also killed and the house was destroyed.
