World War III: Russian ambassador to Turkey assassinated in an art gallery




The Russian ambassador to Turkey has been killed this evening after he was shot dead by an attacker at a photo exhibition in Ankara.

The ambassador, Andrei Karlov, was brutally killed several minutes into a speech at the embassy-sponsored exhibition.

It is understood he was shot by a man wearing a black suit who yelled “Allahu Akbar”, reports state at least eight shots were fired.

Meanwhile Turkish police have confirmed they have fatally shot the gunman involved.
