A young boy is in critical condition in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Co Carlow.
It is understood the boy aged 10, was seriously injured after being struck by a 4×4 vehicle whilst riding his bicycle in the Ballymartin.
Gardai say the boy was airlifted to Temple Street Children’s Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
