A young man has died, and another one has been badly injured, following a motorcycle crash on an Irish road.
The accident, which happened near Hart’s Corner on the Finglas Road in Glasnevin, Dublin, shortly after 10pm on Saturday night, involved two motorcycles and a car.
A 19-year-old male, the driver of one of the bikes, died in hospital a short time after the crash. A second male in his mid-teens was rushed to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Gardai are asking for witnesses to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
