An 18-year-old man sadly lost his life yesterday evening when the car he was traveling in collided with another vehicle.
The accident happened occurred at approximately 7pm, on the Ballinamore to Swanlinbar Road in Carrick on Shannon, Leitrim.
The man was rushed to Enniskillen Hospital, but was later pronounced dead.
The two female occupants of the second vehicle were taken to the same hospital, but were later released.
