This girl really did not want to be separated from her dog on New Year’s Eve.
The partygoer decided it would be a great idea to bring her pup into an Irish nightclub over the weekend, by hiding it in her coat.
Unfortunately her plans went awry as her four-legged pal didn’t make it past the bouncers.
Diarmuid McCleary, photographer at Vibes Media, managed to snap the bizarre scenario outside Spy Nightclub in Monaghan on New Year’s Eve.
He said: “The girl tried to hide the dog in her jacket but was caught by security.
“She wanted to spend New Years Eve with the dog but her dreams were crushed!
“I don’t know who the girl actually is I turned around and just seen her being stopped at the door [of Spy Nightclub].
“The dog was never in danger or was there any chance it would be let in as they security at Spy are top notch.
“The dog spent the rest of the night being petted and cuddled.”
The image was posted to Vibes Media’s Facebook page on Sunday night, where it became a hit on social media.
On the photo, which has been liked over 4.6k times, Diarmuid added: “The picture on my page has been viewed over 600,000 times and it’s getting comments every second.”
