A major manhunt is underway as a murder investigation has commenced after a man was shot dead in The Regency, Drumcondra in the north of Dublin city, at 2:10pm this afternoon.
Young children, women and men were forced to dive for cover after two men burst into a hotel lobby firing shots at will. A third gunman fled the hotel on foot and met an innocent man who was carrying shopping from a nearby Centra – was told to “get out of the f****** way”, to which he spared the man’s life.
The three individuals then jumped into a van and escaped to nearby Claremont where the vehicle was found burned out.
