Romania may have been heavily defeated by Ireland this evening but the team still left Wembley Stadium in high spirits as one of their stars proposed to the love of his life before they left the field.
The man Romania’s top scrum-half Florin Surugiu was not going to let defeat spoil his and his sweetheart’s big moment as he popped the question before they went back to the dressing rooms. The couple who were surrounded by his teammates, received warm applause from fans after Surugiu’s girlfriend happily said yes.
