migrants

We’ve all seen the unsightly and traumatic image of the little dead boy washed up on one of Turkey’s prime tourists beaches. Every news channel and newspaper (including The Liberal) around the world published that haunting image.

We all think of ourselves, our own kids and the circumstances that must have lead to such a tragedy.

Although horrifically sad, the truth behind the migrant crisis needs to be further scratched than just the surface.

Many people across Europe are welcoming, with open arms, literally tens of thousands of so-called refugees into their countries. The blatantly obvious procedures needed in any normal, regimental immigrant regime are being completely and naively overlooked.

People are being completely mislead by emotion – their humanity is kicking in rather than their foresight.

Most but not all of these people are Muslim. They’re fleeing a war-inflicted Syria. A war that could have easily been prevented if Barack Obama hadn’t backtracked practically all of the U.S. Army out of – but we are where we are.

I challenge anyone who wishes to accept these migrants (they’re not refugees) to watch an endless ream of Islamic terrorist videos showing the decapitation of innocent (mostly) Westerners in the name of their extremism.

We’ve all seen so much debate on social media over the past couple of weeks to do with this topic. People name calling, insults going both ways, but there’s a simple way to solve this argument – complete and proper FULL vetting of anyone full stop coming into this country.

When ISIS openly said in February 2015 that they would manage to infiltrate the world, not much emphasis was put on such an “empty threat”, but what happens if it wasn’t an empty threat?

What happens if some of those thousands of burly young men coming into Western countries hate us for our way of life? What if they fully endorse and practice Sharia Law? What if they’re extremely well trained terrorists?

What if there’s even 10 terrorism sympathizers out of the 10,000 promised to Kildare from Joan Burton?

I’m not a racist and nobody who questions the validity of these people is either. I care about myself, my family and friends FAR too much to openly and freely welcome in people who have a serious amount of questions to answer first.

Political Correctness needs to take a backseat on this one, quite frankly – our safety comes first.
