The 35 year old woman was last seen on February 3rd in Galway city.
Immediately, the family and friends of the missing woman put up posters featuring Ms Berry around the city, appealing for information.
A Facebook appeal attracted 2,000 people.
Yesterday at 3.30pm, the body of a young woman was located in Merlin Woods.
This discovery was made during a search for the missing woman.
However the body has not been formerly identified.
The scene has been sealed off and an examination is being carried out, however Gardai have stated the death of the woman is not being treated as suspicious.
