A teenage boy has been shot in Darnale Park, Dublin.
The boy, who is under 18 years of age, was shot at close range shortly after 10pm Friday night.
Emergency services rushed to the scene where they treated him and then rushed him to Beaumont Hospital where his condition is said to be critical but stable.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them on the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11.
