Justice spokesperson for Fianna Fail Niall Collins has strongly  claimed that the party was not responsible for distributing a list containing the names of children allegedly involved in anti-social behaviour in the Tallaght area.

Deputy Collins made the claims whilst he was addressing a meeting in the Dublin suburb when the list was revealed.
The list has angered some  parents of those identified, parents of those identified have strongly denied that their children are involved in criminal behaviour and are now deeply worried that their children will now be targeted by vigilantes.

Deputy Collins claims that his party was not behind the distribution of the list and there was no discussion of its contents at the meeting. Mr Collins said: “All I can tell you is that, from the point of view of the meeting, which was held in Tallaght, that wasn’t discussed on the night at all, and it didn’t encompass any part of the Fianna Fáil public meeting,” he said.
