Come fly with us: Aer Lingus announce plans to hire 100 new pilots at its Dublin base




One of the country’s biggest airline companies Aer Lingus has announced plans to hire 100 new pilots at its Dublin base.

Aer Lingus say the new jobs which will have an enticing package deal will be available later this year.

The company who have expanded its operations in recent months by adding a whole host of new destinations, also say they plan to recruit up to 200 pilots over the next three years.

Speaking about the new positions an Aer Lingus spokesperson said new recruits can expect to receive salaries between €59,000 to €72,000.

They will also be entitled to a pension scheme with the company giving a 21% contribution, along with 34 days annual holiday leave.

Aer Lingus say the positions are catered for pilots willing to fly airbus and non airbus flights for more than 800 hours per year.
