Cork school forced to close after Irish Water failed to fix sewage problem

A school in Ballycotton, Co Cork was forced to close today after water shortages that Irish Water have failed to fix. The school had problems from the storms over the weekend and as a result, water shortages led to no washing or toilet facilities.

Children were told to use wipes rather than wash their hands, and they couldn’t flush the toilets.

Irish Water have said they’re going to try and fix the problem over the coming days.

Meanwhile, parents are left fuming with their kids not being taught over a lack of water. They’re disgusted that the closure is caused by Irish Water in the first place.
