Dublin’s brave fire fighters rescue woman and child from house blaze in the north of the city

Fire fighters from Dublin Fire Brigade were the unsung once again today after they rescued a woman and a child from a house fire in North Dublin this morning.

The incident which occurred at a premises on the North Circular Road at approximately 5am, seen four fire engines attend the scene.

Reports say in total 15 people were evacuated from the building along with woman and child who were rescued from the blaze, which is believed to have happened on the second floor.

Thankfully no one was injured in the fire, and Dublin Fire Brigade say the importance of acting quickly was a key factor in today’s rescue.

A spokesperson for the unit said: ‘The quick reactions of those involved thankfully prevented a possible tragedy this morning.’
