Emergency services attend crash scene after a bus carrying teenagers to school is involved in a collision with two other vehicles in Co. Limerick




Emergency services are at the scene of a serious incident in Co. Limerick.

A school bus was involved in a collision with two other vehicles near an area of Caherconlish known as Connelly’s Cross, in Co. Limerick, earlier today. The bus veered on to a ditch as a result of the impact and ended up resting on its side.

Up to 40-50 people are believed to have been injured in the crash. The extent of their injuries is not known, though none are believed to be life-threatening.
