Eunice Gayson, the actress who played the first Bond girl, passes away aged 90





Eunice Gayson, the British actress who played the original ‘Bond Girl’, has passed away aged 90.

Ms. Gayson was first mooted to play Miss Moneypenny, but was cast as James Bond’s love interest Sylvia Trench instead in Dr No and From Russia With Love.

The actress entered the history books as the first female to appear on screen with Sean Connery in 1962’s Dr. No.

Ms. Gayson died of natural causes on June 8.
