Adrian Bayley, the man who raped and killed Irishwoman Jill Meagher back in September 2012 has seen his sentence extended due to three more rape convictions. He will not be released from jail before 2058, when he’s well into his 80s.
An Australian judge has set a new non-parole period for the convicted rapist and killer of 43 years, starting today, after he was found guilty of raping three other women; one back in 2000, and two others just a short few months before he murdered Jill Meagher while he was on parole.
The judge said all the victims had suffered considerably, and that he is likely to die in jail.
